Faith & Worship
Worship Services
Worship services at Peace are a mix of traditional and contemporary elements. We utilize a variety of instruments, including organ, piano, flutes, oboes, saxophone, guitars and drums. We also incorporate choral ensembles, children's sermons, and drama into our liturgical worship experience. We celebrate Holy Communion at both Sunday morning services each week.
Mission
Saved by God's grace, we are a faith family called to be witnesses, stewards and servants for Christ.
Vision
We see Peace Lutheran Church spiritually transformed through worship, education, and other experiences into a growing body of disciples fully equipped to carry out Christ's mission to make other disciples.
What We Believe
As Lutherans, we still hold to the basic principles of Luther’s theological teachings, those of Grace alone, faith alone, and Scripture alone. These comprise the very essence of Lutheranism:
- We are saved by the grace of God alone -- not by anything we do;
- Our salvation is through faith alone -- we only need to trust God made known in Christ who promises us forgiveness, life and salvation; and
- The Bible is the norm for faith and life -- the true standard by which teachings and doctrines are to be judged.
